Train services return to normal

Train services have returned to normal this morning after a group of railway trade unions ended their week-long strike, the Railway Main Control Room stated. 

The trade unions called off their strike yesterday following discussions with a four-member Ministerial Committee headed by Minister Sarath Amunugama. The committee was appointed to look into the grievances of the striking workers.
