Train services suspended along Northern Line
Train services along the Northern Line have been suspended until further notice due to the derailment of a train, the Railways Department said.
This was after the 'Yal Devi' express train plying towards Colombo Fort from Kankesanturai in Jaffna had derailed near the Galgamuwa Railway Station.
Three persons were injured while damage had been caused to the rail tracks and the train's compartments due to the incident, the Railway Control Unit said.
