The facility to transport parcels by train which had been temporarily suspended in the aftermath of the Easter Sunday attacks, will resume tomorrow (June 1), the Railways Department said.
The decision to suspend cargo services was taken after considering the heightened security measures which were enforced across the country, a Railway spokesman said.
Meanwhile, trains have also been allowed to stop at the Coast line Railway Secretariat Halt after such services too were suspended following the terror attacks.
