The personnel of tri-forces have been assigned to provide protection for all power installations island wide following the recent power outages.
The Defense ministry said that under the directions of the Ministry of Defence, personnel of Army, Navy and Air Force have been deployed to provide security to all Ceylon Electricity Board power stations, installations and substations from today 6.00 a.m onwards.
