Two army personnel died when the vehicle they were travelling in toppled in an accident in Nedurkani, Mullaitivu today (Jan 21).
The victims have been identified as Army Major Asanka Liyanage and Army Corporal M.G.M.T. Premathilaka.
Five others who sustained injuries are receiving treatment at the Vavuniya General Hospital.
Hospital sources said that one officer who is receiving treatment is in a critical condition.
