Two suspects have been arrested in connection with an incident where stones were pelted at a meeting attended by Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa at the Mount Lavinia Housing Scheme last night (29).
Police said one suspect was arrested from Mount Lavinia in the early hours of this morning while the other surrendered to the Mount Lavinia Police today.
The suspects, aged 21 and 40 years, are area residents and are due to be produced before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate's Court later today.
