Two suspects have been arrested with army fatigues and other items during a search carried out on a three-wheeler in Homagama yesterday (Sept 3), Police said.
Among the seized items were army fatigues, two manna knives, swords, two face masks and around three grams of heroin.
Police have identified the suspects as individuals who had discharged themselves from the army. They are residents of Kegalle and Kiriwaththuduwa.
The suspects are due to be produced before the Homagama Magistrate's Court tomorrow (Sept 5).

A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
Update: Five of the twelve passengers on board the bell 212 aircraft that crashed into the Maduru Oya today, have succumbed to their injuries, the SLAF said.
