Two boat services will operate along the Beira Lake from August 22, Megapolis and Western Development ministry secretary Nihal Rupasinghe said.
The service will operate between the waters adjacent to McCallum Road in Fort and Vauxhall Street in Slave Island, for the convenience of the public, Mr. Rupasinghe said.
According to the ministry secretary, a 50 seater air-conditioned boat and a 30 seater non-air conditioned boat will operate between 7 - 10 am and 4 - 9 pm daily.
