Two Deputy Ministers promoted as State Ministers

Deputy Ministers J.C. Alawathuwala and Lucky Jayawardena have been sworn in as State Ministers of their line ministries before President Maithripala Sirisena, the Presidential Media Division (PMD) stated. 

Accordingly, Mr Alawathuwala has been sworn in as the State Minister of Home Affairs while Mr Jayawardena has taken oaths as the State Minister of City Planning and Water Supply.
