Two empty cocaine containers discovered at singer Amal Perera's residence

STF personnel today (Feb 07) discovered two empty containers of cocaine at the residence of Singer Amal Perera who has been arrested in Dubai.

This was following an inspection that was carried out at the residences of Mr. Perera and actor Ryan Wan Roen who have been arrested in Dubai along with drug kingpin 'Makandure Madush'.

Accordingly, the brother of Mr. Perera who has been identified as Sohan Perera was also taken into custody by the personnel.

Meanwhile, a digital scale along with a bag with a hidden opening were discovered at the resident of actor Ryan Wan Roen.

STF commandant Senior DIG M.R. Latheef said that the brother of the actor has also been arrested by STF personnel.
