Former Deputy Minister Abdullah Mohamed Maharoof and another individual have been remanded until tomorrow over misuse of vehicles belonging to Lanka Sathosa during the 2015-2019 period, the police said.
Both were arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) yesterday in Kinniya, Trincomalee. The other individual has been identified as Farook Mohamed Aslam, a resident of Matale.
