A man and a woman have been arrested after police discovered live ammunition in the possession of the latter yesterday.
Accordingly, a detonator, two hand grenades and some bullets were nabbed from the residence of the woman, according to the police.
The arrest was made following a tip-off received by the Special Task Force.
The suspects have been identified as a 38-year old woman and a 29-year old man residing in Talawa.
They will be produced before the Tambuttegama Magistrates court today,
