Two persons have been killed, while one was left critically injured after a domestic dispute in Udumbara yesterday (Oct 3) night.
Police said a man, who had been drunk, had stabbed his wife, and parents-in-law due to a dispute with his wife at their residence in the Kahataliyadda area.
The wife who had sustained critical injuries had been admitted to the Udadumbara hospital while the parents-in-law had died at the scene of the incident.
The deceased have been identified as W. Banda, 53, and A. Ajantha, 45.
Meanwhile, a search operation is underway to locate the suspect who is believed to have fled the area following the killings.
