Two officers in hot water for sharing water bottle
Panadura Magistrate ordered legal action under Quarantine Ordinance against a police sergeant and a civil defense force officer who were spotted sharing and drinking water from a bottle at the court premises, police said.
Meanwhile, a male and a female police officer attached to the Western province Special Investigation Unit have been tested positive for coronavirus. Yesterday (21) the Investigation Unit located in the Fort police station building was temporarily closed after a police officer was found infected with the virus.
