Two suspects were arrested with 126.6 kilos of kerala cannabis during a search operation by the Navy in Mannar yesterday (May 26).
Officers attached to the North Central Naval Command had arrested the suspects before handing them over to the Pesalai Police for further legal action.
Last Saturday, Navy personnel had arrested two other suspects with 233 kilograms of kerala cannabis in Sri Lankan waters.
The arrest was set in motion by naval officers attached to the Northern Naval Command.
