Two Police Officers have been arrested today in connection with the shooting at Point Pedro, local media reported.
The two arrested officers are due to be produced before the Point Pedro Magistrate’s Court today (July 10). Police opened fire at a lorry carrying sand which did not heed to a Police order to stop in Manalkadu, Point Pedro yesterday (July 09).
Police reports have confirmed that an individual had been killed as a result of the shooting.
