Two train compartments catch fire at the Dematagoda Railway Yard

News

Two train compartments at the Dematagoda Railway Yard erupted in flames and were completely destroyed after they were gutted by a in fire this afternoon.

Three firefighting trucks were dispatched to the scene and were able to bring the flames under control. Police said the compartments caught fire during repairs.No casualties have been reported.
