Two women who allegedly defrauded over Rs 39 million have been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). The suspects were taken into custody yesterday (27) from Aththidiya and Boralesgamuwa.
The suspects, aged 26 and 32 years, are due to be produced in court. The CID is conducting further investigations.
