A head-on collision between a motorbike and a car left two youths seriously injured yesterday (24). Both the injured were traveling in the motorbike at the time of the incident.
At the time of the accident, the car had been traveling from Hambantota to Ambalantota while the motorbike was headed to Ambalantota from Hambantota.
The two injured are receiving hospital treatment. Police said that negligence on the part of the motorcyclist had caused the accident. However, the driver of the car was arrested by Ambalantota Police.
