Udayanga Weeratunga prepared to appear in court - Lawyers

Lawyers representing Sri Lanka's former Ambassador to Russia, Udayanga Weeratunga today informed the Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court that their client is prepared to appear before court to answer charges related to the controversial MiG deal. 

Meanwhile, the Attorney General's Department informed court that Mr Weeratunga is currently detained at a prison in Dubai.
