United Nations Secretary General, Antonio Guterres has welcomed the peaceful resolution of Sri Lanka's political crisis while lauding the resilience of the country's democratic institutions.
Issuing a special statement, the Secretary General also called on all politicians to resolve all political differences by seizing the opportunity of cabinet appointments in the same interest of democracy and the country's people.
