The Election Commission (EC) has said that it would not be able to conduct the provincial polls if the necessary laws and enactments are not prepared by the month of May.
This is due to the presidential polls which will have to be held before January 08, the EC said adding that it would require atleast two months to prepare for the elections.
The provincial council elections have been continuously delayed due to the failure in submitting the delimitation review report before Parliament.
