Coalition parties of the United National Front (UNF) have decided to back Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and vote against the No-Confidence Motion (NCM) submitted against him by the Joint Opposition (JO).
Accordingly, the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) led by Minister Rauff Hakeem, the All Ceylon Makkal Congress (ACMC) led by Minister Rishad Bathiudeen, the Tamil Progressive Alliance (TPA) led by Ministers Mano Ganeshan and Palani Digambaram, as well as the Jathika Hela Urumaya (JHU) of Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka have all decided to vote against the Motion.
