UNP MP Ajith Perera says that the UNF is ready to submit an affidavit with the signatures of over 113 MPs to the President at 10:30 am tomorrow (Nov 19) in a bid to prove their majority in Parliament.
The UNF had agreed to do so following a suggestion forwarded by MP Wimal Weerawansa at the all-party meeting with the President today (Nov 18)
However, MP Perera said that the President had not expressed complete satisfaction in this regard.
He said that the UNF hopes that the President will respond to this suggestion by 10 am tomorrow .
MP Perera also said that the government MPs will meet at 11 am tomorrow in order to discuss about tomorrows proceedings.
The meeting is expected to take place at the Parliament.
