The United National Party (UNP) will suspend the membership of three further MPs along with Ranjan Ramanayake for "damaging the party's image," UNP Assistant Leader Ravi Karunanayake said.
Speaking to TImes Online regarding the temporary suspension imposed on MP Ranjan Ramanayake's party membership, Mr Karunanayake said the party had identified three other MPs who were purposely damaging the party and attacking its senior leadership.
"We have asked that these MPs too be suspended and an inquiry be held against them in the same manner as the inquiry conducted against Ranjan Ramanayake," he noted.
