An unregistered van believed to belong to suicide bomber Zahran Hashmi’s brother-in-law Ilyas has been found and seized in Nintavur, Army said.
According to the Army, the van had been purchased in Akkaraipattu on cash on April 19.
Two National Identity Card (NIC)'s were disocvered in the van during a search carried out on the van.
Yesterday, the State Intelligency Service confirmed that Zahran Hasmi who led a splinter group of the National Towheed Jamath was involved in last Sunday's explosions at the Shangri-La hotel.
