Update: 12 military personnel among injured in bus explosion

At least 19 persons were injured after a bus plying from Jaffna to Bandarawela caught fire due to an alleged explosion at Kahagolla in Diyathalawa this morning, police said. 

According to military sources, at least 12 of the injured are military personnel. 

Investigations to determine the cause of the explosion are currently underway.
