Three persons including notortious underworld criminal 'Kanjipaani Imran' were ordered to be detained until June 26 by the Colombo Magistrate's court today (Jun 12).
During a hearing, Additional Magistrate Kanchana Neranjana ordered the suspects to be produced before court on June 26 and July 07 for further examination.
The suspects were under the custody of the Colombo Crimes Division and were being questioned on a 90-day detention order issued by the Defence Secretary.
Police have identified the suspects as M.N. Mohamed Imran, M.F. Mohamed Asli, and A.M. Badurdeen.
