Former Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka has been remanded till tomorrow (Dec 19).
After being arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division he was produced at the Colombo Magistrate's Court .

Former Cabinet Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka has been arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division a short while ago today (Dec 18).
Mr Ranawaka was arrested over a traffic accident which took place in 2016 on charges of causing serious injury to a person in the accident and for fleeing afterwards.
The Attorney General's Coordinating Officer, Senior State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne said Attorney General, Dappula de Livera had ordered the Senior DIG of the Colombo District to arrest the former Minister and present him before court.
