The death toll following the Kalutara shooting incident has risen to seven. Among the victims are two of them are prison officials names are as follows
Prison officials were identified as S. Sannigama and S.R. Wijeratne while the others killed were Aruna Damith Udayanga (Samayan) , Prasanna Kumara, Prasanna Sampath, Kelum Priyankara, and Tilak Mallikage.
Prison spokesman Thushara Upuldeniya said that investigations revealed that some of the attackers were dressed in uniforms similar to that of policemen.
