The Finance Ministry today announced that Vehicle permit holders will be allowed to purchase an unregistered vehicle from local market by using their permit with Tax concession.
The value of the tax concession will be paid by the government to the authorized dealer in turn.
The scheme to import vehicles on permits were suspended earlier this year as a measure to prevent the outflow of foreign exchange to overcome the impact of the COVID19 situation.
