A van which failed to stop for Police in Tangalle was shot at earlier today (Dec 26).
Police said the van is reported to have fled the location in the midst of the shooting. Police are conducting further investigations to locate the vehicle.
Former Minister and leader of the Eelam People’s Democratic Party (EPDP) Douglas Devenanada was arrested by the Criminal investigation Department (CID) today.
