Ven Rathana Thera hands over additional information on Batti Campus

Parliamentarian Ven Athuraliye Rathana thera today (July 1) visited the Financial Crimes Investigation Division this morning to provide additional information on the Batticaloa Campus (Pvt) Ltd.

The Thera stated that information obtained from various institutions regarding the university had been handed over to the CID. Speaking to media he said the campus was part of an organisation which belonged to the former Governor of the Eastern Province M L A M Hizbullah and his family.

The Thera added that all information obtained from the BOI and other institutions attached to the Ministry of Higher Education has been handed over to the Financial Crimes Division.
