Veteran musician and singer Upali Kannangara has passed away at the age of 67 a short while ago.
Mr. Kannangara is reported to have passed away while receiving treatment due to a brief illness at a private hospital in Colombo.
The veteran singer was the voice behind local hits Ahasata Sanda Se, Akasha Punsanda, and Annawe Me Wage.
Singer Keerthi Pasquel took to his Twitter handle to express his sadness at Upali's passing.
