Victor Rathnayake's wife arrested over alleged fraud

Hashini Rathnayake', wife of veteran singer Victor Rathnayake, has been arrested by Tangalle Police. 

She was arrested this morning after arriving at the police station along with an attorney to give a statement.

Mrs Rathnayake has been arrested in connection with a gold jewelry fraud at a state bank branch in Tangalle that had allegedly been committed while she was working as an employee there.
