Actor Vijaya Nandasiri (b. 1944) passed away at the Colombo South Teaching Hospital, yesterday August 8. The veteran actor was 72 years old.
He leaves behind wife, actress Devika Mihirani, whom he met on the sets of ‘Subha Saha Yasa’ in 1974, and children Navanjana and Rasanjana.
Illukpitiya Muduyanselage Vijaya Nandasiri was born in Maharagama and had his primary and secondary education at Vidyakara Vidyalaya, where he availed himself to many of the school productions.
