Visitors have been barred from attending today's parliamentary sittings, a Parliament official speaking to Times Online said.
Accordingly, foreign envoys and members of the public will not be allowed to observe today's session which is set to commence at 1 pm.
The parliament official noted that several MPs have complained that various objects were thrown by those observing the proceedings from the gallery. The MPs also alleged that those in the gallery had hooted at them during Friday's parliamentary session.
Therefore, the decision to bar visitors from observing proceedings was taken to ensure the safety of the parliamentarians.
However, the media has been granted access to observe proceedings from the gallery during the parliamentary session.
