Vote on Account passed in Parliament without a vote
The Vote on Account (VoA) presented by the Government to fund State expenditure from September 1 to December 31 this year was passed in Parliament a short while ago without a vote.
The Rs 1.7 trillion VoA was passed after a two-day debate in the House held yesterday and today.
Meanwhile, the Government informed Parliament today that it intends to present the 2021 Budget to Parliament in November.
