Colombo Additional Magistrate Chandana Kalansuriya today issued a warrant against Ramith Ramukwella.
The order was given after a case was taken up where Ramith Rambukwella had injured a motorbike rider. Mr Rambukwella had not appeared in court today and the lawyer representing Mr. Rambukwella had said that his client had not been present today owing to a medical illness.
Howver, the magistrate dismissed the excuse saying a valid medical certificate had to be produced.
