Water cut in several areas in the Galle district tomorrow

The water supply to several areas in the Galle district will be suspended for 9 hours from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm tomorrow, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board said.

The water cut is due to renovation work set to get underway at the Baddegama Water Treatment Plant.

Accordingly, the water cut will be in effect in the following areas - Baddegama, Halpathota, Sandarawala, Ganegama, Mahagoda, Nagoda, Meemeduma, Gonapinuwala, Telwatta, Kalupe and the Hikkaduwa town.
