Weapons, ammo recovered from a car in Piliyandala

News

A foreign manufactured weapon, and a hand grenade were recovered from a car in Piliyandala yesterday (May 26).

Police who were tipped-off regarding the vehicle had also discovered two cris knives and 200 grams of gun powder.

Four suspects aged between 29-36 who were travelling in the car had been taken into police custody.

They are due to be produced before the Kesbewa courts today.
