A date to take up the corruption case filed against National Freedom Front (NFF) leader Wimal Weerawansa has been fixed for May 16 by the Colombo High Court.
The former Minister is alleged to have been involved in the unlawful acquisition of money and assets, estimated at Rs.75 million within a period of six years while serving as a Minister, during the former regime.
