Weerawansa to contest Local Government Elections under new front

News

National Freedom Front leader Wimal Weerawansa said yesterday that his party will contest the forthcoming Local Government Elections under a new front.

Weerawansa said that the government can not be defeated under the leadership of President Maithripala Sirisena, Weerawansa made these statements at a press conference at party headquarters,

Weerawansa argued that the government was acting according to instructions and needs of the western powers.
