Western Provincial councilor Amal Silva was injured and hospitalized after being shot at by a gang at Ratmalana on Thursday night, a Police spokesman said.
Hospital sources said he was out of danger.
An Attorney at law and his wife was shot dead in the car park of a super market in Akuregoda today evening.
