President Gotabaya Rajapaksa today stated that steps will be taken to provide Government jobs to all such job seeking graduates in a manner that ensures their direct contribution to the national economy.
He made the remarks while addressing a group of such graduates from all corners of the country during a meeting held at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday (19).
The President further noted that they had gathered information regarding current vacancies in Government, Semi-Government sectors and in Government Departments. He said all new recruits would be provided a comprehensive training on leadership and Government Service.
The President stated that it was his objective to build a Government Service and a Government Servant that is responsible to the people.
