A youth who was injured in a shooting incident in Jaffna yesterday succumed to his injuries, police said Monday.
The youth, a 27 year old resdent was a pilion rider on a motorcycle when he was shot at on Sunday. Police said they have identified the gunman and a search operation was underway to apprehend the suspect.
A postmortem is being conducted.
