A thirty four year old youth died when he lost control of the motorcycle he was riding which collapsed into a stream on Monday (Nov 21) night.
The deceased a mason by profession had left his work place at around 8.30pm and was on his way
home when the incident had taken place.
His body was discovered at about 5.30am last morning (22nd) by family members who went in search of him. The body was found pinned under the motorcycle in a stream by the side of the road leading to his house. The deceased is a resident of Dandeniya South.
Inquirer into Sudden Deaths in Dikwella Shantha Randombage who visited the scene ordered the body to be sent to the Matara General Hospital where the cause of death was to be determined. Acting OIC of the Dikwella Police CI R A G Dhammika and OIC of theTraffic Branch PC Saranathissa were conducting further investigations.
