Zaharan's 4-yr-old daughter to be handed over to maternal grandparents
The Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court today ordered that the custody of the four-year-old daughter of Easter Sunday mastermind, Zaharan Hashim be handed over to the parents of Zaharan's wife.
The court issued the order today following a request made before Colombo Fort Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake by the CID.
Accordingly, the four-year-old child has been placed under the custody of her maternal grandparents Mohamed Hussein Abdul Cader and Sithi Sihila.
The Magistrate also instructed probation officers to look into the custody of the child. Further, it was revealed in court that the girl's maternal grandparents were residents of the Katupotha area.
