A total of 40 suspects have been arrested so far in connection with last Sunday's explosions, Police Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekara said.
Of the arrested suspects, 26 are currently being questioned by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).
Further, three suspects are currently being held under the Terrorist Investigations Department, Mr. Gunasekara noted.
