Kingswood College Kandy won the bilingual debating contest among Kandy Education Zone competition finals held this week.
Dharmaraja College was the runners-up at the event.
Sashendra Tillekeratne of Kingwood won the Best Debator and the Special Award to Debator Sasin Neel Chathura of Vidyaratha College, Kandy.
Governor of the Central Province, Lalith U.Gamage was the chief guest at the occasion.
The finals which were held at the Governor's Auditorium
Kandy Zonal Director of Education T.Wijeratne was also present.
